M&S is powerful tool for analyzing performance and behavior of systems, designs, and environments that might be too difficult, expensive, or time-consuming to reproduce with hardware prototypes alone, especially in the early phase of the system design process.

We have extensive experience using off-the-shelf simulation tools such as MATLAB, Simulink, C/C++, NS2/NS3, OPNET, and Satellite Tool Kit (STK), for analysis and design of communications systems at the physical and network layers, as well as for general signal and data processing applications. Our M&S team can support your initial system design and assessments in a timely manner, whether for proposals or initial studies, detailed hardware and software algorithm design and verification, or system test and data analysis support.

Tremendous advances in low-cost, parallel computing power, using multi-core processors such as General-Purpose Graphics Processing Units (GPGPUs), are rapidly changing the M&S landscape. An inflection point has been reached where teraflop scale processing power is now available at price points that only a few years ago, would have been considered distinctly impossible. This tremendous and growing increase in processing power, at dramatically reduced cost, has not been lost on On-Point, and our M&S team continues to incorporate these newer technologies in our M&S tools and module libraries.
