TempDetectPoint^™ Thermal Portal is an innovative tear duct and facial thermal imaging gateway system for fever screening and detection. The team came together in just months with the capacity and experience to develop a fully functional hardware and software prototype that can be rapidly manufactured at scale.

The human tear duct is the best indicator of fever temperature other than invasive techniques. Unlike skin, tear ducts are not affected by exercise or changes in the environment. TempDetectPoint^™ is focused on tear ducts and other parts of a face’s heat signature, eliminating extra heat signatures that may confuse other sensors. The process is entirely passive and benign: There are no rays, signals, fields or chemicals.
